- Wing Notes: Her Late Majesty elected to use the St Edward’s Crown; His Majesty has decided to use the Tudor Crown. From a military perspective, Their Majesties were very specific that when the Crown changes, stocks of the previous Crown on items such as badges, pins, etc., are to be used up before issuing new ones. Therefore, many members of the military will still not even now be issued items with the Tudor Crown. It can therefore be very hard to find brand new items featuring the Tudor Crown.
