- Wing Notes: There was a National Air Taxi Conference in the mid-late 1960’s. This organization was formed to promote standards for the hundreds of air taxi/fixed base operators. It later expanded to include commuter airlines. Member carriers pilots were authorized to wear this badge and some did.
