  • Wing Notes: The badge for those completing the Complementary School of the Argentine Navy. That program was implemented in the 1950s/60s and ended in the 70's and was very similar to the US Navy Officer Candidate School Program (civilians that after a reduced training become commissioned officers that can serve for limited time). The restricted line (Escalafón Complementario) pilots were not rated "Naval Aviators"(Aviadores Navales), but "Naval Aviation Pilots" (Pilotos Aviadores Navales) and were restricted to billets within the Naval Aviation Community. Nowadays it can be seen worn by Navy Reserve pilots, although there aren't too many. "Full roundel" wings were reserved for "Naval Aviators" (Naval Academy Graduates that took the Naval Aviation Course).
