Memo: Chris Langley: The red leaf wing was a mistake in 1968. It was supposed to be gold like the wing but because the flag contains the red leaf the loom setter inserted red. This was caught very quickly AFTER issue so some were very briefly worn but were collected in for the most part. Nonetheless, some do survive. Also, the wing background color should be dark green. Caution, It has been heavily reproduced.
